Joe Mistich
Joe’s responsibilities within the group range from running higher level strategies and
initiatives to supervising and coordinating day-to-day operational activities. Joe is
former director of the Mandeville, LA Department of Public Works. As director Joe’s
duties included management of water and wastewater services, streets, drainage, sewerage
treatment, and general maintenance. Joe was instrumental in implementing a wetlands
disposal system for Mandeville that provides effective treatment while minimizing
mechanical equipment, energy, and skilled operator to the plant.
Joe’s academic achievements include degrees from Louisiana State University with an
emphasis in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Architecture/Masters Degree from
Tulane University. He is an independent contractor holding state licensing in
residential, commercial, and industrial construction. He served as President of the
Northlake Chapter American Public Works Association for two years. He is also active
in the National LSU Lettermen Club where he served as President from 2002-2003.
Andrew (Andy) Kruger
Andy Kruger holds an MBA from Tulane University and a BA from Colgate University.
His past experiences include best-practices management consulting, financial accounts
management, executive management of small companies, and teaching.
As the corporate analyst for The Mantco Group, Andy runs the day-to-day operations
associated with finance, strategy, operations, and acquisition. Andy’s principle role
engages his skill and ability to construct accurate and presentable financial analyses
on each project, business target, or opportunity. Those analyses then allow Mantco to
offer, along with their project proposals, a variety of innovative options designed to
maximize the benefits to each side and create the optimal working arrangement for
success.
Jerome Krentel
Jerome is Mantco’s head accountant and advises on all IT issues. He oversees the books
of Mantco’s projects both on a daily transactional basis and through our multiple
acquisitions, reorganizations, and asset transfers. He has spent 18 years in
contracting and construction followed by 12 years in the medical products industry
with involvement in project management, product development, and production management.
William (Bill) Mellor
Bill Mellor provides The Mantco Group with a unique perspective as a former U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service (FWS), Office of Law Enforcement special agent pilot. He retired
from government service on Sept 30, 2007. As a criminal investigator and pilot for
over three decades, Bill successfully protected migratory birds, endangered and
threatened species and their habitat, and many other environmental resources in fifteen
States. Bill’s contribution to conservation included over 2,100 investigations that
involved individuals, commercial operatives, and corporations.
During his career Bill was instrumental in the passage of new laws to protect redfish
in the Gulf of Mexico. His knowledge of wildlife and other environmental statutes and
case law have distinguished Bill numerous times as an expert in the Federal Court
system. Bill was active in strengthening both U.S. Fish and Wildlife and state
wildlife law enforcement programs by sharing his knowledge, skills and expertise in
training younger special agents and state wildlife officers both in the classroom and
in the field.
Dawn Barberito
Dawn is the Vice President of Project Development for Mantco. She previously worked
for Manti Resources, in Corpus Christie, in the oil and gas field. While at Manti,
she was responsible for accounts payable, wireline reports, daily well log reports,
and coding for billing on each well either operating, workover, drilling or
producing. Dawn graduated nursing school with a Bachelor in Science in 1999 from
Texas A&M at Corpus Christi. From 2000 to 2005 Dawn owned and operated a women’s
retail boutique for high end cocktail, wedding dresses and wedding party members and
gifts and accessories. Dawn has a wealth of experience in hosting fundraisers and
charitable events. She has chaired live auction events for several fundraisers which
has given her the experience of running a small business.
Ellen Jordano
Ellen’s responsibilities for The Mantco Group include managing the office and
assisting Joe Mistich. She also assists in overseeing the 160-acre farm. Ellen is
the event coordinator for personal and business events held at Cypress on the Green.
Before joining the group, Ellen ran her own business for twenty-five years based in
Kenner and Covington, Louisiana. Her experience includes audio/video sales, service
diagnosis, appointment scheduling, sales tax preparation, purchasing, business
bookkeeping, merchandise inventory, computer, and merchant credit card terminal
operation.
Ellen’s other prior experience includes working as the assistant manager for a
nationwide organization where she managed the store employees and implemented
new plans, she has also worked as a flight attendant and flight services manager
for Continental Airlines.
Stacey Good
Stacey is a vital part of the accounting department. She joined the group from
a management position at the Fresh Market. Stacey has book keeping and
merchandise inventory responsibilities for a number of the companies. She also
keeps PaperVision up-to-date. PaperVision is an information technology program
which allows the group finances, contracts, and reports to be completely
transparent to the team members and the public.
Sandy Mistich
Sandy recently joined The Mantco Group. Currently she is assisting Dawn on
certain projects in the development stage. Sandy holds a Bachelor in Science
in nursing from Southeaster Louisiana University and has spent the last 21
years practicing at east Jefferson General Hospital. Her areas of practice
include 11 years on a telemetry unit and CCU, with six years charge nurse
experience and three years serving as the telemetry Supervisor and nine years
experience in Cardiac Rehab. Sandy is also the President of Axcess Construction
Management Services.
